This is a nice atmosphere for "Sporting Clays". However, I have not hunted there so I have no opinion on that part of ther offering.

If I had to guess I would say the "Sporting Clays" course is about a 3/4 mile course. The course is typically wooded with some stations setup in clearings and others within the woods or on the perimeter. The course is changed monthly and offers multiple challenges from easy overhead shots to long open field shots along with rabbits. They will also throw multiple styles of clays and even a "white" bird occasionally that is considered a penalty if broken. Another time, they had an old row boat that you sat in and shot at an incoming birds. Somewhat unique from what I have experiences in my short "Sporting Clays" participation. No water shots are available however.

Everytime I have been to Wild Acres they have always had an assistant walk along for operation of the throwers and also to keep score.

Facilities are adequeate and they do offer limited accomodations if needed.

For me it's a nice change being able to participate in 1-2 hours of "Sporting Clays" during the spring/summer/fall timeframes versus 4-5 hours of time spent on a golf course nowadays.
