I have enjoyed shooting here for over ten years. It is a family tradition of ours to stop and shoot on our annual trip from Salt Lake City to Disneyland each summer. Over the years, the staff has changed, but the atmosphere and condition of the property has always been top notch. As I have been able to shoot all around the country, I consider this to be as nice a course as any, and better than most.

I have no problem with the flat terrain. I don't need a physical work-out to enjoy shooting Sporting Clays. The target presentations are always fun and challenging. It's a pleasure to observe the wildlife: Cotton-tails nibble on grass just a few feet away, seemingly oblivious to the shotgun reports all around them. Ducks, geese, and dove fly overhead. And if you're lucky, you can see turtles and trout swimming in the pond. Though I only make it down once or twice each year, I buy a membership. One: To support this great club, and Two: Even with as little as two other shooters, you can save a little on the shooting fees.

Probably my favorite place to shoot. Wish I could come down more often.

We have been stopping here the last several years on our annual fishing trip to Panguitch. It is great fun. Nice people run it. The price is very reasonable. And from someone who lives in CA, there does seem to be any unreasonable restrictions.

Mesquite is on the way to our retreat in Tucson and is a good stopping off spot. I have shot there regularly for a number of years, even back when the facility was branded Peppermill. Some while back the folks from the government environmental (EPA) folks made them redesign the course out of concern that lead would contaminate the Virgin River. So the course is scaled back a tad from what it once was and is still good. As others have noted the staff is always willing to assist and they are very attentive to details. The traps are always working and filled with clays. We have never encountered any difficulties. Recommended.

I have shot a couple of Quail Unlimited Events, and also been back for some fun shooting with my daughter and a family friend... The staff here is friendly, Wally, who in a previous life ran the Desert Lakes Club just south of Vegas is the GM here now, and brings his friendly nature and reasonable/challenging targets to the course. This is a great course for an easy day--- it is flat as others mentioned, which if you have an older shooter with you is a big plus. And there are a couple of stations which regularly kick my tail, so it has some difficulty to it. The final stations there by the club house, over the pond and into the cliff are scenic and fun... I would recommend it for a couple nice hours to break-up the drive to SLC or other points north on I-15, if you are coming from the south anyway. To get here, you have to drive in through the golf course, and when you get the to other side, down the hill, turn right past the motocross park, and there you are! About 10 mins of the freeway.

Myself and several of my friends shoot here at least twice a year during National Sporting Clay events. The staff and facilities are top notch and the target presentations are challenging but fair. We have never had a negative experience here. A fine place for corporate events with enough advance notice. Cart rentals, ammo and gun rentals and competitive pricing make this a place to come whenever you are in the Vegas area.

What a place to shoot, the targets are great and the staff are like old friends, A first class place with first class people. Every thing you need for a day at the range is in there club house, from guns & ammo to shooting vest and gun carts they have ready for you to use.I go to Vegas every year and the Oasis will always be first on my list to do.

The folks are nice enough and prices are very reasonable. But, if you are looking for a sporting clays course rather than stations lined up, you may want to look elsewhere..................the setup is a rectangular field that has been fenced off and the stations are lined up along the fence line. There is no path or trail through the woods or desert. Only 2 skeet fields and they do not throw regulation targets. I was there on a Saturday and no one was shooting skeet. But, if you have to shoot when up that way, it may be your only option.

We visited the Oasis Gun Club in Mesquite, NV in April of this year and found it to be a great place to shoot. Not only were the facilities clean, well thought out and maintained, but the staff quickly became like family. Helpful in every respect, they made our stay an extremely pleasant one. In fact we're already planning our next visit.
