Reviewed 10/16/2010 | Capitol City Gun Club is a great place to shoot. The staff is very friendly and helpful and willing to reach out to newcomers to make them feel comfortable and welcome.
I've been to the club a few times to practice on the trap fields and enjoyed every visit. Yesterday, my son and I decided to try the sporting clays field for the first time. After unloading our shotguns from the truck, my son discovered that he had left the key to his trigger lock on his car key ring, and his wife had his car, 25 miles away. The staff in the pro shop offered to loan us a gun, and didn't charge us a rental fee. We had a great shoot, got to try a new gun, and went home with big smiles and sore shoulders. A great day.
I recommend this club to anyone who wants to enjoy a great day of shooting at a nice facility with good people. |

Reviewed 08/21/2009 | My husband and I stopped here on a whim one February a few years' back and didn't have our guns with us. Staff was extremely friendly, had guns for us to use and while shooting skeet it started to snow! The staff member pulling for us asked if we wanted to stop, we said not really, do you?, and he replied I'll pull as long as you want to shoot!
Talk about customer service! We had the best time here and the next time we're in the area we will make sure we bring our guns and stop by! |

Reviewed on or prior to 11/20/2005 | I'd just like shooters to know that CCGC is a fun club to shoot at. There are targets for all skill levels and the sporting clays course is a lot of fun to shoot! Management and staff are helpful and friendly. Stop in and visit sometime. |
