Walt Niewiera Worcester Ma Member More than 10 visits Reviewed 02/08/2009 | I left Roswell 10 years ago and I remember this club being a great place to shoot with the very best people. JD taught me to shoot skeet and rope. Whenever I get back to Roswell Chaparral is the first stop. |
Bill Rogers Artesia, NM Visitor Once Reviewed 01/03/2009 | Shot Chaparral Sunday 12-28-2008. What a fun time. JD Franklin is an absolute gem for this facility. We have shot a lot of clay in many different formats, but have never had an opportunity to shoot skeet. JD was more than willing to show us the ropes. I highly recommend this range to anyone interested in skeet shooting. Great facility and I will be back to shoot again soon. |
Jim Meroney Willow Park Texas Visitor Once Reviewed 03/02/2008 | I find the wide open skys and presentation of the club to be great. I was very pleased with the club and all the Members I shot with today to be a great bunch of folks. I plan on joining the club and shooting there as often as I can. |
kelly starr Artesia, NM Visitor More than 10 visits Reviewed 02/06/2008 | This is a Great facility, a short drive outside Roswell. The ranges are nice and kept clean. The clubhouse is a large building with plenty of seating and restrooms. The prices are outstanding, A great value compared to other facilities around the country. I have been to the range several times with family and friends, we are all beginning shooters and the staff or other shooters are always willing to help us with our skills. If you are in the area I would highly recommend dropping by the range. |
Dan King Artesia, NM Member 6-10 Visits Reviewed 10/02/2006 | A nice, friendly skeet range! They have 4 fields, all pretty nice. A nice clubhouse, too. Their prices are outstanding ($3.50 is the MOST you'll pay for a round of skeet!) The management is very friendly and welcoming to newcomers. The only drawback is that they have very limited hours, usually open only weekends and Wednesday evenings. Most people want to shoot on the weekend anyway. |
