I have visited a number of trap ranges over the past few years, and find that this is one of the best. The facilities are very good for both skeet and trap, and these are associated with a rifle/pistol range that also is very good, with many types of shooting and competitions. The rifle facility ranges from indoor shooting to outdoors 50 yd to 800 yd shooting. They have good, covered shooting benches at the rifle facility.

Aside from the physical facilities being so good, one of the really great aspects of the club is the group of people who run the facility. They are really friendly, and very experienced. The official registered shoots are run very well, due to the dedication and experience of he staff.

The club is really great for top shooters (and there are a bunch there) and is very good for beginners too. Lots of friendly advice is available from both staff and other shooters.

Very strong recommendation.

Very nice facility. The only complaint I have is that the skeet shooting hours are too short 11am-1pm only on Saturdays. I would like to see SJWF open it up for a couple days during the week as well. Also would like to see registered targets thrown.
Definitely recommend shooting here...if you can shoot within the limited time allotted.

What a great group of guys to be associated with. Everyone works on a volunteer basis and two members in particular have gone above and beyond the call to help with improvements and maintenance. . . and those two members are Wayland Moore and Jack Reid. I just want to let everyone at the club to know just how lucky we are to have these two guys on our side.
On another note, the club is looking great and everyone has a good time when we go out. There's always someone there to give advice or answer shooting questions. We had a lot of fun on the 4th of July holiday at the shotgun/skeet range and I encourage everyone to "come shoot with us".

This course is a up and coming all around shooting range. This non-profit facility is getting more recognition from the oil and gas industry and will be growing even more over time. Great layout.
