Matthew Akron, OH Visitor Once Reviewed 01/08/2013 | Very good. No membership and it's quite cheap. 100, 200 yard ranges. Bring your own targets, or use the trash people leave behind lol |
zachary boera cleveland ohio Visitor More than 10 visits Reviewed 01/08/2013 | I love this place only place i go shoot it is about 45min to an hour from my home but it is well worth the drive . I have a verity of handguns shotguns and rifles and i do not have to think if i am allowed to shoot any of them at this range, i have been to ranges that have bans on certain firearms. A&A is different thats what i like about this facility i can go have fun and be responsible without having the staff breathe down our neck and watch every move we make. Awesome place i highly recommend this place to any one who is an avid shooter to the beginner. Thanks A&A and the family for keeping your property open for us to enjoy. Great place cant say enough!!! |
Paul grogan Euclid Visitor 6-10 Visits Reviewed 05/14/2012 | A&A is just fantastic in so many ways, for one I don't need a membership like everywhere else, the staff there makes you feel like a old friend, and most important for me I can fire my long gun up to 300 yards there. I often pack a lunch and spend several hours when I head out there. Thanx Windle! |
Tom Dziedzic Leavittsburg, Ohio Member More than 10 visits Reviewed 11/15/2011 | Al and Joe are great people. They have always been friendly and helpful.
I prefer this range to the public range. Easy to access. I have a disability and they are always accommodating.
Great time whenever we go there.
Highly recommended.

John wilmington, delaware Visitor 2-5 Visits Reviewed 12/27/2010 | Great place to joy time with family and friends. The family who owns the place it very hospitable and the facility is always taken good care of. You bring your own targets which makes shooting that much more fun. I'm glad I found a place like that I can go to when I'm in Ohio. I go every time I'm out there. |
Doug Cleveland Ohio Visitor 2-5 Visits Reviewed 10/17/2010 | A new shooter. A cop-friend told me about the place. My other friend lives 5 minutes away & didn't know about the place. Took my 14 year old son to shoot 22 rifles & 9mm handgun & we had a very nice time. We go on the weekends & doesn't seem very crowded to me. The employees are very friendly & helpful. As someone else posted, it feels like your hanging out on a friend of yours property, not very formal, but very inviting (just the way I like it). I like the overhead cover, due to one time it was raining a little & we just kept shooting. I am going to shoot today & that's why I'm posting, because I was on the site looking for the hours of operation. Great place, keep up the good work. |
Joe Wit Euclid ohio Visitor More than 10 visits Reviewed 01/08/2010 | Lots of fun cheep and open all year any weather I've been there in like a foot of snow they plow the paths and everything, the only down side it seems the shop is closed most of the time. |
John Layton Cleveland, Ohio Visitor More than 10 visits Reviewed 12/04/2009 | Great place to go to shoot. Outdoors, Overhead shelters. On sight gun shop. If you like to shoot, go to A&A. |
Paul Ravenna, Ohio Visitor More than 10 visits Reviewed 05/16/2009 | The place is awesome for any style shooting, but you guys need to advertise for your paintball section, I tried to show my friend on the internet but nothing stated for the paintball course. |
Carmen Laquatra Solon Ohio Member More than 10 visits Reviewed 03/20/2009 | I have been a member for more than 5 years. The owners are all very nice. I have taken a few shooting classes(taught by outside companies LMS DEFENSE AND ROB PINCUS ) and the private range is amazing! Al Spolarich and Joe are good people and very friendly. Mrs. Spolarich is a amazing cook. Sometimes on a weekend there is food in the club house we always look forward to a bite as a extra plus to the services at the club.
Always friendly and willing to help. A great family environment. |
Stacey Brandfass Macedonia Ohio Visitor 2-5 Visits Reviewed 12/27/2008 | Great place to shoot and enjoy the company of others. I have been there about 4 times now and I plan on spending many Saturday mornings there. Shot 5 stand for the first time and it's great. Makes you humble! Nice place and great people working there. They really make you feel welcome. |
Gary Seiffer Monroe, CT Visitor 2-5 Visits Reviewed 11/21/2008 | Visiting family at Thanksgiving would not be complete with out the brothers and I spending a Friday after Thanksgiving at A & A. It is tradition and you don't mess with tradition. Really a friendly place, fun atmosphere and very safe for you new shooters out there.
Worth a trip to this location at any time of year! See you after Thanksgiving!

Alice Ravenna Ohio Visitor 2-5 Visits Reviewed 11/05/2008 | Al & Joe are great. The ranges offer lots to do. Just found that they have added a 300 yard rifle range to their already existing 100 and 200 yard ranges. There is also a private range in the back that is only available to groups.
The whole place is open to the public, just stop in the clubhouse and check in with Al. Did I mention that he was a great guy. But - they do not take credit cards, so remember that.
The gun shop has lots of stuff in it. I think it is run by some part of the family, but am not sure. There is a small brunette in there that really knows her stuff. My husband and I really enjoy talking to her.
We took our CCW class from the gun shop people. They really know the law and all that is involved in safely carrying a gun. I felt that I learned so much about defensive shooting from them. |
Sam Cleveland Ohio Visitor 2-5 Visits Reviewed 10/28/2008 | I am a brand new shooter, and they have been really welcoming to me, and taught me the basics. There seem to be shooters of all levels. They are patient with new people. |
Doug Brown Aurora, OH Visitor More than 10 visits Reviewed 09/03/2006 | Very nice people. Joe (owner) and his Dad (Al) are really great. I took my wife and daughter out there and Joe spent considerable time showing them what to do. Facilities are average. Five Stand is the best, with different presentations and creative arrangements. They pull all birds for you, so sometimes there could be a wait, but it has never been a problem. It is not a private club, but the people are nice, the customers are equally nice, and it is a great place to go when time is the driver. |
Doug Brown Aurora, OH Visitor 6-10 Visits Reviewed 04/16/2006 | Fun set-up for shooting in a casual atmosphere. Employee tended trap, skeet and five stand make for smoother transitions. And, signing up in advance on a scorecard makes it easy and fair ... first come - first served on busy weekends. Very nice people, they make it entertaining and are highly conscious of safety issues. They have the ability to cater and rent out for banquets, but this is not a "country club" atmosphere. More like being at a friends place for a beer and a cookout. Always have a hot pot of coffee and some chili cooking - usually they throw in some cookies and donuts, too. A very friendly atmosphere. They also have a rifle range for long guns and pistols - well away from the trap and skeet ranges. My only negative is that they should have a sporting clays range ... that would make them perfect. |
Rob Farrow Mentor, OH Visitor More than 10 visits Reviewed 01/12/2006 | Friendly management. Rifle/Pistol ranges are casual and not too busy.
Customers/members seem to be generally knowledgeable and careful. No immediate supervision at the firing lines. Wear Boots in wet weather.
CCW training / gun store (Target Thing) on site. Main business is trap/skeet, which I have not used. |
King Heiple Pepper Pike, OH Member More than 10 visits Reviewed on or prior to 11/20/2005 | Nice people and nice facility. Large barn clubhouse also serves as a party center. They do the cooking for parties. 1 skeet, 1 5-stand and 2 trap fields. Also has has an informal pistol and rifle range for test firing and sighting in, not for competition. Occasionally has cowboy action, etc.
I practice skeet there and as Certified Level III Instructor, also teach skeet there. Open essentially only Wed, Sat and Sun. A lady runs a shooting supply business there also. |
