Reviewed 03/06/2010 | My husband Paul shoots regularly at Styx River. I was very comfortable taking the Concealed Weapons Class. The instructor was friendly and courteous and treated me and the other lady in the class with the utmost respect. He was very thorough on teaching us how to shoot pistols. I would recommend this class to anyone who feels a little intimidated. You will have a new outlook on your abilities after completing this class. Best money every spent! |

Reviewed 11/05/2009 | I go shooting at Styx River quite often (I need to become a member).
It is an outdoor range with a covered shooting area. The range is nice, the facilities are great. They have indoor restrooms (separate male and female), a well stocked gun shop, reasonably priced range supplies, snacks and soft drinks.
The Range Master is experienced (ex-Military and ex-deputy), helpful, and courteous. The atmosphere at Styx River is friendly.
I bring my wife and kids often, and we make a day of it! |

Reviewed 04/29/2009 | Looking for a good selection of Reloading Supplies and equipment, Guns and Ammo, they got it. The Range is a great place to shoot Skeet,Pistol or Rifle. I've enjoyed every visit and the Folks there are very Friendly and Helpful. |

We purchased hand guns for each other last Valentine's Day and have been to the range lots of times on our own and with family and friends. You cannot beat the safety and comfort of a range master always monitoring and the friendly knowledgeable staff when something goes amiss with your weapon. We would recommend this range to anyone looking to purchase a weapon, get more involved in shooting sports, or for a Saturday activity with friends. |

I am an adult beginner and have learned more from the facility than I could have ever imagined. Great job, keep it up. And come support this shooting range. |

The annual membership family rate is very reasonable. I've visited a few dozen times over about 9 months. This is a good place to take the family. |

The closed it moving it to his location. I believe they are the best people to deal with in the Mobile, Pensacola area.
