Reviewed 10/25/2009 | This is a private club and when I called on October 21, 2009 to inquire about shooting there, I was told that the only time I would be allowed to shoot was on Thursday afternoon after 4:30 pm until dark. The club president whom I spoke to didn't sound a bit friendly or welcoming. In fact, it sounded as if he would have rathered I not call and bother him.
I had called his house two days earlier and left my phone number with his wife and asked that he call me regarding shooting at the club. He didn't bother to return my call. I had to call him again two days later to talk with him. BTW, I did not bother to go to the club on Thursday at 4:30 pm so I can't report on the condition or facilities present.
My advice if you are planning on shooting in the Athens, TN area is to look somewhere else. |
