This is a wonderful place to shoot, no mater your skill level. The staff and regulars are welcoming, friendly, and helpful to all. The prevailing breeze off Decker Lake seems a little cooler than standard in the summer, which is nice. There is a special Clays course set up for folks wanting to get in the swing for dove season that gets a lot of use.

Myself and a friend visited capital city sporting clays last Wednesday to shoot a round of sporting clays. Let me just say I will never go back and shoot there again. They are over priced for what they offer which is bad customer service and throwers that do not work. Between myself and my friend we shot 256 clays we were charged for four and a half rounds (50 per round)which only leaves 6 extra targets. We were told we could see a set of targets per each stand and they had at least three throwers were not work and breaking clays i tried to tell the staff about it and none of that was taken it in consideration. I also was interested in trying to set up a team building exercise and was told that would be extra over their normal price like it would be a hassle to do it. Wow how would you like to have that person doing your sales!

This is a well-run facility that will meet all your clay shooting needs. Everyone that I have met is very friendly and helpful. It only seems to get crowded on Saturday morning and during events.

My son and I were treated to a fine afternoon of clays as visitors to this nice club. The people were very friendly and helpful, showing us around and setting us up for the course. The course we played is a flat area with small trees, good presentations, and lots of challenge. The wind was a factor on this March day. Will visit again when we can.
