Jeff Gilstrap Allen, TX Visitor Once Reviewed 01/09/2012 | First shoot at Rose City. Great setting...very wooded. Good creative presentations. Staff was very friendly. Road to rough for carts...we drove our SUV between stations. Way to many broken "no bird" launches throughout the course. They definitely have a problem with the machines or the clays. One thrower ran out of clays before we could finish. All in all a good time...I will be back. |
Bill and Brenda Tennant Core, WV Visitor Once Reviewed 10/27/2011 | We shot Rose City as were passing through TX. Very nice course and great presentations. Chris and Monique made us feel right at home.
As we were leaving the local 4-H Club came to shoot which, I think, says a lot for the club. |
Robin Mallon Richardson, TX Visitor 6-10 Visits Reviewed 07/12/2010 | A bit off the beaten path from Dallas but well worth the drive. The staff is friendly and helpful to make sure your visit is enjoyable. One of the few places where you can shoot a bad score and enjoy every minute of it. Shoot sizes are moderate and squads tend to be friendly and laid back. An easy place for matches or just spending the day with reasonable prices. |
Charlie Bell Edmond, OK Visitor Once Reviewed 03/16/2010 | Nice lay out and fun course. The owners Cris and Monique were very nice helpful people. |
Neal Barton Tyler, Tx Visitor 2-5 Visits Reviewed 01/08/2010 | My wife and I are new shooters and Chris and Monique, as well as other shooters, are as nice as they can be.
For newcomers like us the whole experience could have been overwhelming-but they made it great.
We plan to be regulars. |
JERRY SERVOS Athens,TX Visitor 2-5 Visits Reviewed 12/13/2009 | Cris and Monique (owners) are great and very helpful people. Wonderful targets, well maintained. Will shoot in all their tourney's in 2010 and go as often as I can. I call this my home club and will recommend it to everyone. |
Jason L White Irving, TX Visitor Once Reviewed 06/01/2009 | Great club! The people are really nice. I was in for the Memorial Day Weekend and took a buddy for his first time shooting there. They were gracious and accommodating. The skeet, 5 stand and trap fields were nice and very well maintained. Would highly recommend anyone going there and supporting the business. I will be back! |
Judd Lasiter Sachse, TX Visitor Once Reviewed 02/24/2009 | We stopped in recently for a round of sporting clays. The terrain is sandy with some hills. They had some great layouts and cool target layouts. I can't stress enough how nice the people were that run the place. We shot sporting and 2 rounds of 5 stand and they were SUPER!
We will definitely be back. |
Kevin Liv Copperas cove, TX Visitor Once Reviewed 11/06/2007 | Great little range! Stopped by there this weekend and had a great time. Folks where real friendly. Looked like they had three skeet ranges, one was set up for 5- Stand. And it looked lie the other two had trap overlaid. The on-line driving instructions need a little work, but we found it. |
