Once upon a time this was a great place to shoot. I have shot trap all over this country and never have I been told that I had to shoot their shells at any club or public range. This would tend to put a very bad flavor on ones pallet and not ever wish to return or be a member. My last visit was my last and there are much better opportunities in DFW area. Their policies should be revised to better ol days!!

I've been taking lessons at Dallas Gun Club and Elm Fork and wanted to show my brother what skeet shooting was all about. The people were friendly and the price to join is very cheap. The young man who pulled targets for us was very helpful in explaining things to both of us. I agree that the round and ammo prices are quite high if you do not belong to the club. It's likely that one or both of us will join in the next few months.

The equipment was nice for skeet and trap, but shooting is over priced. Non-members have to shoot a minimum of two round (no problem) but you can not shoot your own ammo (they sell you crappy Italian ammo), and the combined cost was $37+ each. Better choices in the DFW area.

Been a member since some time in the early 90s, and can truthfully say that it is one of the most friendly Clubs around, and thank god, they don't really care how good you are, just how much you enjoy shooting.

I joined this club in Feb 2010. I have been very pleased with the associated costs of membership and fees for shooting. There are adequate trap and skeet fields with newly installed traps. Trap includes singles, handicap, wobble, and doubles. The trappers are friendly and helpful. The members that I have met are generally interested in the game as well as helping you to improve your skill level. The club house is newly restored and comfortable. The club offers 4 non-member visits to allow you to judge your interest level prior to joining.

My home club, strictly a shotgun club. Very well maintained, friendly staff, and good machines. Voice pulled and the scorers do their job well.
Nice laid back atom. with nice members. New shooters always welcome.
