Reviewed 09/24/2009 | I was the guest of Karl from the pistol side of the facility. This is a gated club only open to guests on Sunday for shotgunning. It is one of most well kept and orderly clubs ive been to. Clean as a whistle. Dress right dress and spic and span. Since there is so much to do, I must stay focused on the shotgun ranges. The grass on the infields is of golf club standards and would pass for a putting green. The members here are the friendliest you'd ever meet. A beautiful clubhouse is available to escape the elements and it comes with all the modern facilities you’d need to be comfortable and relaxed during a visit. The 2 combo fields are the most challenging ive seen. Both are set up on a grassy hillside. Some would call it a cliff! The center stakes and out of bounds stakes are on poles 50 feet high in some places! You’d better keep your eyes open when shooting skeet, for the backdrop is against an unforgiving tree line that is even with the targets flight line. It takes a skilled eye to stay in focus! Targets are 4.00 for non-members. It’s well worth the experience. I look forward to another invite in the near future. This is one of the top 10 clubs ive been to. |
