Terry Issaquah, WA Member More than 10 visits Reviewed 02/01/2012 | Started with shotgun sports less than 2 yrs ago and have made it a point to visit clubs where ever I go thanks to this site. I have now visited more than 10 clubs in CA, ID, WA, HI, OR, etc., so far SST is the best all around facility I've seen. I joined the club on my first visit. The membership takes pride in the facility and the image of the club. Continuous improvement to the shooting experience is part of the Club's culture. RSO's are vigilent, friendly and helpful.
Yes, its a little bit out of the way,...but well worth the effort. |
Art Aske Maple Valley, WA. Member I work there Reviewed 05/29/2011 | Yes, I agree with the assessments made in the above comments. I to travel with a shotgun and shoot where ever I can. I have never been disappointed because of the quality of the people in the shooting community. I believe that ranges do the best they can with the resources they have available. We have continued to invest in our club to constantly improve our facility. As of today, 5/27/2011, The road is being resurfaced. I hope this helps with the drive in. Come and see us. |
Ignacio Avellaneda Sammamish, WA Visitor Once Reviewed 09/23/2010 | I was impressed with this club. Multiple features that I liked:
Nice club-house, good place to setup and leave your equipment, food available, clean restrooms.
Friendly staff + they have a fairly automated way of keeping track of your trap rounds.
Full selection of trap, continental, sporting. Also it was great to see that quite a few people had brought their hunting dogs.
I would return even through it’s a bit of a drive for me from Sammamish / Seattle.

Casey Wareham Kent, Washington Visitor More than 10 visits Reviewed 06/28/2008 | The Seattle Skeet and Trap club is excellent. The facilities are very nice. The employees are very friendly. The Five-Stand is very fun. It's a great place to spend a couple of hours on a Saturday. |
Bert von Plopple Kirkland, WA Visitor More than 10 visits Reviewed 04/19/2008 | This is hands-down the finest clays club I've been to in the Northwest. I found the members to be friendly and helpful. It is entirely run by volunteers but you would think it was a professional enterprise judging by the superb condition of the fields and equipment.
The only major drawback is the horrendous mile-long driveway which you must drive on to access the club. The driveway looks like pictures I’ve seen from WWI battlefields—it is pockmarked with massive potholes and divets. Don’t be surprised if your car scrapes the ground in potholes along the driveway approaching the club. However, the payoff for driving on this substandard road is that you will visit the best skeet and trap club in the Northwest.

Robert J. Siefert Vancouver, WA Visitor Once Reviewed 08/10/2006 | I travel for a living and take my skeet gun along where ever I go. The Seattle Skeet & Trap Club was a pleasant surprise. The location is a little hard to get to, but the directions are clear and worked just fine. The club grounds and equipment were in excellent condition. The grounds were well layed out and all equipment was in excellent repair. The targets were well regulated. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Of the many skeet facilities I've shot at over the years, this is one of the nicest I've seen.
