On a family vacation to the West Coast, my family and I returned to the club to visit and reconnect with my father's and brother's favorite place to be. My Dad, Rex Miles, was a lifetime shooter and officer of the club for many, many years. He tutored my brother, Keith Miles now of Seattle, who has been a member since a young boy and still attends shoots. The manager of the club was so welcoming and helpful, explaining the sport to Rex Miles' Great Grandson and the others who had never been exposed to trapshooting. We so enjoyed our visit. The manager may have spawned a new trapshooter in my grandson. Some wonderful things have happened as a result of that exposure.

I attended the Inland Empire Shoot last May. This club was so friendly that this year I am bring my wife who hates going to shoots. I know she will enjoy all the friendly people at this club.
I intend to shoot at this club every year from this day on even though it is a thirteen hour drive from Roseville. I have shoot in all of the western states and found that the Spokane gun club is on the top of my list for favorite places to shoot.

My wife and I thought it would be fun to just pop in at the Spokane Gun Club and shoot a couple rounds of skeet during our visit. We arrived on a Saturday morning and were greeted warmly. The lady running the desk was real helpful. She gave my wife some information and advice about how/where to find a cool-weather shooting jacket and explained the features she liked or didn't like about her own jacket. We shot a couple pleasant rounds of skeet in a pleasant (but cold, wintry) environment.
