AnMarie Mayville, WI Member More than 10 visits Reviewed 01/31/2010 | I started shooting at the Mayville Gun Club 3 years ago and have been a member for 2 years. I really enjoy the time I spend at the club, shooting Winter and Summer League Trap, Sporting Clays, and participating in the special events. Everyone you meet is friendly and helpful and always ready to lend you a hand. I would recommend anyone to come out for a day and shoot some clays. |
Jason Beaver Dam Visitor 6-10 Visits Reviewed 07/12/2008 | Well organized. Friendly Staff. Course changes often. Sporting clays is a great way to keep your eye in tune for hunting. I'll definitely go back. |
Mick Thiel Chilton Wisconsin Visitor 2-5 Visits Reviewed 05/29/2008 | The Mayville Gun Club is amazing. The workers are very friendly and it is well organized. I only shoot there for the state shoots but they were always on time. You would expect with all those people shooting you would fall behind but they never do. You shoot at your own pace and then they move you on to the next trap house to shoot again. I had a great time.

Douglas Schuster Fond du Lac, Wisconsin Member More than 10 visits Reviewed 07/29/2007 | I shoot trap and sporting clays often at the Mayville Gun Club (also known as) Horicon Marsh Sportsmen's Club. It's a great place with a friendly atmosphere. I think the sporting clay course is the best in the area because it's changing weekly, fun and challenging. They keep the youth from the surrounding area busy helping with trap and the clays course, they are our future. I hope you and your friends have time to check it out, take the kids along too. |
Jeff Huenink Waupun, WI Visitor More than 10 visits Reviewed on or prior to 11/20/2005 | The people running this facility really do a nice job. A completely different set-up on the clays course each week is always sure to keep you thinking. If you're looking for a place to shoot with a relaxed, pleasant atmosphere this is it. |
Shelley Eilbes Mayville, WI Member More than 10 visits Reviewed on or prior to 11/20/2005 | Mayville Gun Club is located on approximately 40 acres. The Sporting Clay course is set-up in a woods and changes each Sunday. We also host the State High School Trap Shooting which is the second Saturday in May of each year. The Club also holds an annual Sporting Clay Classic shoot the Saturday before Father's Day in June of each year. We have a nice club house with refreshments and food available. NASCAR and Football fans can enjoy watching the game between shooting. |
