Carl Cook Orlando Florida Visitor Once Reviewed 08/01/2010 | Excellent club, well run. Trap houses were in good operational shape. Fields were well marked and clean. Lots of broken clays around to show lots of use, but no trash. Cashier was helpful and very friendly. Puller was helpful and was willing to help my partner who had never shot skeet before. Being a Turkey and Pheasant shooter he had a bit of learning to do. I learned my skeet and trap at Wisconsin clubs many moons ago so this was a great way for me to spend a vacation day. I would recommend this club to anyone. I will go back next time I am in the area. Thanks guys! |
Jackson Northbrook IL Member Once Reviewed 01/08/2010 | First visit today (Sat) and I was able to join and shoot 5 rounds of skeet within one hour. Excellent setup, nice people, and just what the doctor ordered. Nice little spot within 45 min from Northbrook,IL |
jeff schaumburg illinois Member 6-10 Visits Reviewed 12/04/2009 | Like the club, like the people, like stopping at the Brat stop for sandwich and beer! |
Chris Thorpe Parkk Ridge, IL Visitor More than 10 visits Reviewed 07/03/2008 | My wife and I have been shooting here for 14 years. The staff and other shooters are always friendly and helpful. We shoot Skeet, 5-Stand and Sporting Clays. We are now introducing our 6yr old daughter to shooting in a family fun atmosphere. Women and Kids are always welcome. |
Don Rushford Milwaukee Visitor 2-5 Visits Reviewed 07/20/2007 | So far to date, this has been the best place I have shot trap at. I took my father-in-law here a week ago and we shot several rounds. The staff was more than accommodating and very friendly. The place is clean and well kept and there appears to be room for everyone. We are contemplating becoming members. I give this club a 10+!!! |
Tim Northwood Racine, WI Member 2-5 Visits Reviewed 05/21/2007 | I've thoroughly enjoyed the staff and other members I've met at this club. I'm a beginning shooter and everyone has been very helpful and friendly. With five trap/skeet ranges the wait is never very long, even on the weekends. Once I try out the large five-stand and sporting clay courses I'll post another review. All in all, this is an excellent place to shoot! |
Matthew Riplinger Palatine IL Member More than 10 visits Reviewed 04/30/2007 | Excellent place to shoot, great staff, good facilities. They run league shooting starting May each year on all of their shooting games. Very easy place to get to off the interstate. |
Jim Evenson Chicago Visitor Once Reviewed 03/29/2007 | I used to be very active in trap shooting but I got old and sick so I sort of gave it up. My son and I came up and shot 2 rounds of trap and it was a lot of fun. The facilities are very nice we only shot trap so I can't comment on the other fields but the club seems well kept up the the facilities were very clean. I won't even mention my score but I had a really great time. Thanks |
Mario Blanquel Algonquin, IL Visitor Once Reviewed 12/19/2006 | This was my first time at a shooting and it was a great experience. The members, staff, guides were all very friendly and very patient. They have huge fields w/ different kinds of courses. I will definitely be back and tell people about it. Great for first timers. |
John Chicago Visitor Once Reviewed 11/09/2006 | Several skeet ranges, friendly people and service, no wait in the middle of the week. Shot 4 rounds of skeet and 2 rounds of trap.
Will definitely go back. |
Fred Farkel Bloomington, IL Visitor Once Reviewed 10/02/2006 | The sporting clays course had lots of crossing targets at varied distances; one overhead, dropping in front; one with two teal. Not much variety. Lots of malfunctions & "no birds". Probably won't go back. |
Will Redfield Chicago, Illinois Visitor Once Reviewed on or prior to 11/20/2005 | This was my first shoot and I really enjoyed it. Tom is an excellent host!
