I love shooting at the Darien Gun Club. The ranges are very well maintained and the staff is always courteous and knowledgeable. They have all of my reloading needs and the lodge sells quite a few shotguns, handguns, ammunition and other items. I visit and shoot several times a week and it's always worth the 3 minute drive. I've been visiting and shooting there weekly since summer of 2008 when I turned 14.

Best of all is that it's run by conservatives!

Great facility, great staff. The only problem we encountered was late afternoon on a clear day, you are shooting into the sun. Morning through early afternoon is great. Always a pleasure to visit the folks at Darien gun club.

After hearing about Darien Sports from a local trap shooter, I gave a call on a Saturday morning to find out if they were open, and made the 1.5 hour drive. It was worth my trip, good prices on shotshell components (my reason for going there), and friendly service. It is not easy to find the place though, Google Maps and TomTom does not get you there, although it does get you close.

My wife & I stopped in on Saturday - during a tournament. Scott was on duty and graciously fit us in for some practice time. We had a field to use and a scorekeeper. If you are anywhere near this public gun club - and you want to shot some trap - don't hesitate to visit. The people there will make you feel welcomed. The entrance is a little deceptive. The nicely maintained fields are right beyond a farmhouse on the west side of Rt 14 (2 miles from Darien, WI.

This is a great trap range with great people running the range. I have shot here many, many times and always have had a great time. Dave and Mary are top-notch.

Dave and his family are the essence of Mom and Pop family business. They are knowledgeable without pretense, approachable with out being professors of shooting-just real people.
I began my shooting here in the mid 90's and have been hooked ever since. I have graduated or continue to grow into more advanced shooting (skeet, sporting clay, trap, wobble trap and such), but this place is home and a good honest club to hang your hat.
