I have visited the NBSC several times in the past 3 years and have had good experiences every time. I have 3 sons. We don't do a lot of hunting, but we love to trap shoot when we have time (in between their school sporting activities). All the members we have shot with have been very welcoming and very willing to encourage my boys. Very friendly atmosphere.
The NBSC opens the trap range to the public on Saturdays and Sundays from 10AM to 2PM. In 2007 the cost is $5 (non-member) for a round of 25 clay pigeons. The cost is $3 for members.
I haven't seen many other Sportsman's clubs so I can't compare. But, the trap throwers at NBSC have worked flawlessly everytime we have visited. They have 4 ranges, and we have never had to wait long in between sessions. They also have one skeet range, but we have never used it.
