Bob Keister Fort Collins, CO Visitor 2-5 Visits Reviewed 11/21/2010 | I've taken up sport shooting late in life and have visited Great Guns several times with my son and our friends. It offers wonderful variety at good prices and is easy to get to from Fort Collins. The place is a little spartan but the shooting experience was great. The 15-station sporting clays is challenging (and a bargain). We enjoyed ourselves immensely and will enjoy going there many times in the future. |
Brian Hopkins Longmont, Colorado Visitor 2-5 Visits Reviewed 07/07/2006 | this is a really neat facility. They have put a lot of money into it lately and it shows. A lot of skeet and trap ranges, all newly built and set, along with a very challenging 5 stand course. The sporting clays course is set very well. The shots are challenging without being impossible and also fun. Shots off towers, over arroyo's, over your back, etc. Changes often to increase it. they have planted a lot of trees, but it will be a couple years until they grow to decent size. An excellent course for cooler days in the fall/winter/spring, probably not the first choice on a hot summer day because of the sun. Friendly, helpful staff and excellent pricing. |
Erik L. Christensen Fort Morgan Visitor Once Reviewed 06/18/2006 | Attended this club with my father and came away very impressed with the amount of fun I had in such a remote place. Employees were very helpful and friendly and the sporting clay course was challenging, fun and easy to use. I would highly recommend this place to my friends as a place to go and have a great time. If you like to shoot and you want a challenge give this place a shot. |
