My wife recently announced a desire to take up skeet. Not being a skeet shooter myself I was of little help to her. Fortunately the Remington range is only about 15 minutes away. We contacted them and learned that they offer free instruction. $10.00 covered the clays and shells, they loaned her a model 1100 20 gauge that had a stock length to fit her free, and gave her basic instruction. Find a better deal anywhere. She felt completely at ease with the range manager who has a very patient and relaxed manner. So far she has made two trips and plans to continue.

Our hours have changed some sine my last post; Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm. We are also open on Thursdays 12:00 pm - 7:00pm from March through September. We will be closed the entire month of December. Groups can be scheduled on days we are not open to the public by appointment only. We also sell target shells in all gauges and reloading supplies.

Finally, after years of trying, i got to shoot skeet at this fine club. Thinking there would be standing room only with a waiting list to shoot, i pulled in the driveway and i had the whole club to myself. Not a shot was being fired. I caught the club in between mega matches. Its a good thing remington employs pullers, or i would have been sunk! It was a hot sunday. I lucked out when clouds rolled in to mask that july heat. I got 4 games in in less than an hour without sunburn. The heat must have scared all the skeet shooters away. Says something about trap shooters, they were there and braving the heat! This is a top notch club. The clubhouse is clean, organized, and air conditioned. Its a historical flagship dedicated to the sport. Its the way all clubs should be. Its the lordship of the midwest. Remington did a fine job when they built this range. You owe it to yourself to come and shoot here at least once. And at 4.00 a game, how can you go wrong? Fabulous place.

A++++ I visited the Remington Gun Club today for the first time. I have to say that out of all the strictly trap and skeet clubs that I have been to this one is by far the the best. The staff was very nice and friendly and did not hesitate to help out. The older gentlemen that were there that have been shooting clay their whole lives were more than willing to lend a hand or give advice. I saw people from all age groups out having a blast. The throwers are voice activated which makes it really nice. The prices seem reasonable enough to me ($5 per round if you bring your own ammo, but they only charge off of how many shells you use so they DO NOT charge you breakoffs or miss-fires). Even if you do not own a shotgun you can go out and enjoy this site. For those who need a gun and ammo it's $55 dollars and you get to rent a gun of your choice ( and he has like 30 to choose from), 10 boxes of shells, and as much time as you want on the range, YOU CAN'T BEAT THAT ANYWHERE! I would HIGHLY recommend this place to EVERYONE and I plan on being a regular at this range. Thank you to everyone that works hard to keep it up and running.

We start our registered ATA trap shoots in march and shoot one Sunday a month. Every Friday and Saturday in May we have the AYSSP (Arkansas Youth Shooting Sports Program).
If you have any questions call 501-676-2667, ask for Bronson.
I just wanted to fill you in before we got anymore bad reviews from uneducated individuals.

As promised, I came back. This time, the clubhouse was open, but by golly, the range was closed for a shooting clinic. The good news was that I was able to purchase reloading supplies and walk around. This club is a class act. but like its mentioned all over this website and by others, CALL before you go. Posted hours of operations are meaningless. Also, I talked to the management and they decided not to reclaim the lead last summer because the ground was too wet. They told me that they will try it again THIS summer. So be forewarned. Stay tuned. Some day I'll get to shoot here!

I attended this facility with work, We had a great time. They provided the guns, and all ammo was included with the registration price of the trap shoot. We all thoroughly enjoyed and will return.

Well, as promised, I came back in the summer to try again and if I was a betting man, I would have won...it was closed. This time the club is closed for reclaim operations. Locals tell me they haven't done it in decades, and with the cost of lead on the market, they decided it was time to cash in their pot of gold laying on the fields. The company or locals cant say when it will open again. With hail Mary hours of operation and today's costly travel expenses, I would not suggest you make Remington a destination range. its rarely open. stay tuned, I'll try again this winter to shoot Remington.

I visited once on a Thursday in December. The facility was not open as the schedule indicated. I was passing through again on a Sunday in early March, but didn't have my gun or shells. I figured being a Remington club, I'd borrow a 20 gauge 1100 and buy a couple of boxes of shells. The only 20 gauge 1100 was a youth model, but they did loan me an over/under 12 gauge. They had pretty decent facilities and shells are available at reasonable cost. I'll stop by again if I'm that way, but only if I remember to take my own gun and ammo.

i was visiting relatives in Benton AR and decided to bring guns this time. To plan the event, I used numerous e-searches. finding info on this gun club proved difficult using Arkansas shooting facility listings. I ended up just driving to the range only to find it closed. So I went to the guardhouse at the Remington ammo plant down the road to get the phone number to the club. This all happened on my trip to shoot there in December. May I suggest that you always call before you travel to this club. Come to find out, the staff at the club got the entire month of December off for the holiday. So much for being open during advertised times. I look forward to trying again in July.

This facility is limited to American Skeet & Trap only. All the fields (three Skeet and two Trap) are well designed and maintained. The facility has a "club house" wherein Remington Ammunition can be purchased for us on field. There "appeared" to be a gun room, presumably to offer guns to the public for use on the range. On the Skeet field, it is primarily a "pull your own" scenario, which is ideal for introducing newcomers to the sport. Birds on the Trap Field are released via a "ventriloquist". What's missing... well, the 5-Stand field is no longer operational. So if 5-Stand is your training method -- for Sporting Clays -- you'll have to look elsewhere.
