Jeff Shivers Erie, PA Visitor 2-5 Visits Reviewed 09/09/2009 | Very expensive. I shoot at virtually all of the clubs in PA for half (or less!) the price. That said, it is an excellent facility and well run. |
Dan Hazewski Glens Falls NY Visitor 2-5 Visits Reviewed 04/16/2009 | I found this facility on your website. I am a new shooter and people went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. The sporting clays course is fantastic. With the ability to set the delay you can go through the course on your own and get lots of good practice in. I have a home on Anna Maria Island and will join the club when I return next year. |
Dale Kling Innsbrook Mo. Visitor More than 10 visits Reviewed 04/02/2009 | Been shooting at the Sarasota Trap and Skeet since January 09. Returning home at the end of March. When I return next December I will join the club because it has been a very pleasant experience. The staff was friendly and always helpful. The facility well kept. The shooters I met were also friendly. I return home to my club and leagues tuned up and ready to go.

Father Charles Cason Oshkosh, WI Visitor More than 10 visits Reviewed 03/12/2009 | I have been shooting here as a guest for over 15 years, always during the month of March. I have always enjoyed this friendly club and have taken home many good ideas of how a club should be run. This all came to a screeching halt yesterday when I showed up with my trap guns and could not buy shells or tickets to shoot. I know I was in a foul mood because we arrived in Sarasota on Monday and I ended up in the Sarasota Hospital with some pretty serious congestion problems. I was dismissed on Wednesday night and so Thursday, I headed to the club. The only people shooting were in squads and they were very absorbed with themselves. Several other fellow guests showed up -- and well it was the haves against the have not. The only good thing was that I recognized Bob and he remembered me. He got me some shells and let me shoot on his key. I don't think the board has a clue to what this does to your guests. Fortunately Bob is the one man that I have seen to be always in a welcoming mood, especially with young persons and new shooters. I asked about four people if there was a registered shoot this weekend. All I got was a blank look that made me feel like they wanted to know who let me in here. Blessings on Bob. A gentleman of the first order.

bob and joan bradley charlotte, me Visitor 6-10 Visits Reviewed 02/22/2009 | We have been shooting on occasion at this club for about 3 years. We have always felt welcome and the President is one heck of a nice guy. We would recommend to anyone. |
David Miller Wainscott NY Visitor Once Reviewed 02/16/2009 | Great facility with really great staff and a good course though a little confusing to find red and blue stands sometimes a little hidden, Shame it's only open to trap shooters on Thursdays, maybe they need to focus, but it's lost revenue, Great 5 stand and look forward to shooting here again. |
Rich Hines Ellenton, Florida Visitor More than 10 visits Reviewed 12/16/2007 | The best place in Florida I've found since moving here from California 10 years ago. I love the 5 stand! The people are very nice and helpful - especially with new shooters or those new to the sport. I'm a bird and waterfowl hunter. Going about 6-10 times a year really helps me bag more birds. |
Bill Ward Huntersville NC Visitor 6-10 Visits Reviewed 04/23/2007 | Great place to shoot! Really nice people to shoot with. I'm a level II NSCA instructor and have been to many places to shoot. Every time I come down I meet some new friends to shoot with, some even come up to shoot at Shooters in North Carolina.
Disappointed someone vandalized there traps just before a shoot, hope they get them.
Looking forward to returning to a really nice place.

Michael Bird ABQ NM Visitor Once Reviewed 05/15/2006 | Nice facilities, big club house, good Pro Shop, fair prices on ammo and other accessories. Skeet fields in good shape, Great Background, make the targets stand out; they use the White Flyer Bio’s. You will know if the target is shot out of bounds! Field fence extends about 40ft from the house (separating the field) can not see any distance markers... Map listed made it very easy to find. Lots of employees walking around collecting tickets, racing field carts around.
Very Pricey for non members $8.00 per round of skeet, don’t know what members pay.

James M. Brown Morristown, NJ Visitor More than 10 visits Reviewed 01/03/2006 | Have shot there many times as well as other clubs on the east coast, and found this club to be one of the best. The facility is well maintained and the people are very friendly. Being physically handicapped, this is also one of the best when it comes to accessibility. |
John Wildeman Punta Gorda, Fl Member 2-5 Visits Reviewed on or prior to 11/20/2005 | Great facility, super people working in the clubhouse and on the 5 stand course. Throughly enjoyed the 12 stand course thru the woods, then was completely humbled by their 5 stand!! Wonderful facility, can't say enough good about it. |
David Hall Bloomington, MN Visitor Once Reviewed on or prior to 11/20/2005 | Nice club. Friendly people. Shot skeet and 5 stand. Nice guns for rent, not beat up. Large club house. |
