Michael O'Connor Fogelsville, PA Visitor More than 10 visits Reviewed 03/17/2010 | The place has had bearable issues for many years but now it is at the point that it is not worth going to the facility.
Since the Hotel has taken over the Clays facility, the targets don't work or have no clays in them, the course was changed because of the EPA and it is horribly laid out and the road to get out to the course is full of ruts and holes and with the poor gun holders on the carts you WILL damage your stock.
From a scenery perspective this place has so much potential. Problem is everyone that has run it is inexperienced or does not care about it. |
Pete Russo milmay nj Visitor Once Reviewed 11/16/2009 | I don't mean to sound rude so please do not take it that way. I shot there in September and thought it was a dump. The road getting to the sporting clay field seemed to be about a mile long and was so rocky and full of ruts and gully's that I ruined the stock on my gun. When we got to the sight they were all dirty shells all over the place you had to kick them a side to get to the station a lot of the traps didn't work to the point they had to send a person with you not only to pull the traps but to repair them with his own toll box. You had to climb up over hills to get to some targets.when I got back, they over charged me according to my conversation prior to going there, they charged me for the cart. I thing if they treated their sporting clay course like they treat their golf coarse they would have a really great place. Now with that said the people you deal with are great polite and helpful, the targets are good and somewhat challenging, the scenery is beautiful. |
john bishop mooresville nc Visitor 2-5 Visits Reviewed 07/12/2008 | Nice place. Hit and miss on the traps. Had problems with a bunch of traps. Would be great place if staff kept up with traps. |
Vincent Flauto Maspeth [Queens] NY Visitor Once Reviewed 04/22/2008 | This is A Great course. Interesting presentations, challenging, and Unbelievably scenic. They really use the terrain well in making their stations unique [especially the last station, it has a steep incline, any presentation is challenging]. Great service, nice new carts [Don't even think about walking]and a great course make for an experience you shouldn't miss. I'll be back as often as possible. |
