Jeff Hunter Wilton, CT Visitor Once Reviewed 10/16/2006 | I had the opportunity to visit Fairfield County Fish and Game this past weekend. The course on this particular day was 16 stations, but looks like it is typically 14 stations. Target presentations were on the difficult side, but that may be due to the group I was shooting with. HOA was 81 (not me) this particular day and I was about 8 targets under my average. Targets were varied with both long and short, fast and slow. All the standard types where there with some rabbit, quartering birds, a nice teal, and an over-abundance of chandelle (just because I hate them). Since this is a private club with a closed waiting list, public shoots seem to be the only opportunity to shoot there without being a guest. The grounds are typical Connecticut countryside and the course is fully automated. Definitey worth a second visit if I can find somebody to hook up with. |
