Mike Lehner Heber City, Utah Visitor Once Reviewed 02/01/2012 | I recently stopped by Purgatory Clays for the first time. Even though we was arriving just prior to closing time, we was met with a very friendly welcome, a short tour as well as as invitation to shoot, even though closing time was near.
The course was a great blend of easy, medium and tough targets, just as it should be. I will be joining soon, and the drive from up North will be well worth it. |

Reviewed 01/31/2010 | We just keep growing, having replaced our old trap machines with (4) brand new Pat Trap's (they wobble too) and we are well into our second ATA season. Lights have been installed on fields #1 & #2 and we have league shooting on Wednesday nights. A second Sporting Clays trail has been cut on the South side of the parking lot approximately a 1/4 mile long loop In April we will host the 2010 Utah Sporting Clay championships and in October we will host the Huntsman World Senior Games for the second time. Thanks to all the shooters for your support. |

Wayne Staab Dammeron Valley, UT Member 2-5 Visits Reviewed 01/04/2009 | In late September I decided to check out the facility in preparation for pheasant hunting in Kansas. I expected a basic trap shooting experience, which I did, but was shown around the facility by one of the volunteers. The people I met were kind and helpful. In December, I went again with two of my son-in-laws and daughter. I joined at that time, and we had a great time shooting, with help from some of the volunteers. This was a great experience and I plan on visiting often. |
Lonnie Christensen Toquerville Utah Visitor Once Reviewed 11/05/2008 | This was my first visit to this facility, and I was really impressed with all the variety that it had to offer. I went with our Venture Crew, and all that participated could not stop raving about the experience. We found all the staff to be very friendly and supportive, a real plus for a bunch of first timers. We plan on revisiting the facility for a turkey shoot in mid November, and look forward to trying out the archery, rifle, and shootout ranges. The facility is well groomed and marked, and did I mention state of the art. Thanks to all those who helped make a really fun Saturday for me and my friends. |

Reviewed 11/29/2007 | Our shotgun venue now managed by Purgatory Clay Sports, is up and running with 2 Trap Fields (Wobble, Doubles, Singles and Handicap), Skeet, 5 Stand and Sporting Clays. Our clays course offer some very challenging presentations from high overhead (200 foot high incomers) to rabbit shots across the gullies. Our two combination skeet/trap fields offer a back drop of red cliff's and high mountains.

Reviewed 04/02/2006 | We are a new club with a spectacular 10 station sporting clay range. The southern Uath landscape allow us not only endless target presentation but also breathtaking views. Our elevated 5 stand is a great warm up. We have skeet and trap fields under construction so be sure to call first to make sure they are done. |
