Just got back from shooting a couple of rounds of Trap. I was invited as a guest by a member. Very nice clubhouse. The members were very friendly and the club is located close to the parkway in a nice area. If/when I am invited back I will absolutely say YES!

Ansonia Rod and Gun Club is a small club in the heart of the Housatonic Valley. This is a private club, but many club member are around and will happily invite you as a guest. The club has one skeet field and one trap field that are busy on weekends, but not so busy during the week. No sporting clays or 5 stand at this point in time. The club also has a Pistol range and Rifle range. This is a good place close to Fairfield County where you can bang out a lot of targets for not a lot of money.
