After visiting two clubs plus SVSC, I will again visit SVSC due to the remote location, friendly people and very reasonable rates for skeet. Ended up shooting with Mike, John and Bob (all volunteer members) and they made an out of towner feel right at home. We broke for lunch and had great conversation and you cannot beat the value!!! Can't wait to get back out there next month and shoot there again.

S.V.S.C. is the place to go if you are a first time or novice shooter. The staff (especially Tony) is friendly, courteous, and very professional. It seems that most the shooting clubs I have been to in previous years were occupied by "grumpy old men". But at S.V.S.C. I've been most impressed. I took a friend of mine, a first time shooter, to this club because I knew his firearms etiquette was not quite polished, however, one of the staff recognized his lack of abilities and offered plenty of friendly and safe advice. My friend had such a great time and confidence in the club and it's staff that he became a member that day. I highly recommend visiting the club, and if you become a member, seeing is vast array of various ranges. I especially like the trap/skeet and the pistol silhouette range. Always a day of fun.
