Dennis D'Antonio San Jose, CA Visitor 6-10 Visits Reviewed 09/28/2011 | On the 16th of Sept my friend and I dropped our wives at the nearby casino and shot Sun Mountain. Nice course and friendly people. I didn't realize 100 birds would cost me $45. Highest in the area. Birds and Coyote are $40; Rooster is $36 and Camanche is $38. Their website doesn't reflect the increase in price either in fact no pricing is on their web site. Next time the wives need a casino we'll hit Jackson and shoot Camanche. Three courses there to choose from. |
Jeremy Price Fresno, CA Visitor More than 10 visits Reviewed 12/28/2010 | Love this place! Kim Iverson, one of the owners, is generous and welcoming. The grounds are always clean and new comers are welcomed with open arms. I go whenever I can, they accommodate special hours if requested in advance, and I cant find enough nice things to say about this place. |
Brian Eichelberger Lemoore, Ca. Visitor Once Reviewed 09/02/2008 | My first trip to Sun Mountain Gun Club was nothing short of awesome. If you`re into having a good time, this is the place. The people there go above & beyond customer satisfaction. |
RJ and ALI Fresno Visitor 2-5 Visits Reviewed 08/10/2008 | My wife and I called on a Thursday asking if we ( Including my daughter makes 3 ) could shoot a round of sporting clays. We advised them that we could not get there until after 5 pm. ( The new hours are from 9-5 ) They said that they would stay open for us and welcomed us with smiles and open arms. They treated us as family. I recommend everyone beginner to pro to pay Sun Mountain a visit. GOOD TIMES FOR ALL |

Jon Fresno, CA Visitor 2-5 Visits Reviewed 07/14/2007 | Really nice people. Have a nice trap field that has singles, doubles, wobbles, and wobble doubles. Nice place to take your family to shoot. Would recommend this place to any shooter. |
J.A. FRESNO, CA. Member More than 10 visits Reviewed 12/30/2005 | No skeet field yet, but several trap fields, a great sporting clays field where one can get by with just skeet chokes, or better, cyl., skeet 1, and i.c. will do fine. Have shot it with .410 and 28, works great. All new automatic machines with a change in the course every 8 weeks. Four pistol bays, reactive targets, and rifle to 200 yrds. New owners, great friendly place to shoot. Contact kim or richard open thursday through sunday, open as long as there are shooters, family nights with bar-b-que, and club shoots too. Life member, great people to shoot with and owners! |
Charlie Frost Kingsburg Ca Member More than 10 visits Reviewed on or prior to 11/20/2005 | This is a friendly, low key place to shoot. 10/12 stations, all hand set machines. Mid-level challenge course. The course is on a hillside with various cover. Not too many short-window or long shots. Can be shot with small gauges. There are also two trap fields and a wobble trap. Refreshment available at the clubhouse.
A new Indian casino opened a mile away, a nice place with several restaurants and a bar/nightclub. Hotel also, and it’s the way to Yosemite National park.
Call and asks for Viv or Skeeter if you want to reserve shooting time
