Sean Hollohan Pacifica, CA Member I work there Reviewed 11/10/2007
This is a great club with great members that welcome everyone who visits. After one visit I decided to become a member which is cheap (well under $100/year) due to the work requirement. A few hours of work per year for new members secures this rate.
I shoot trap and the price here is the best I have ever seen; certainly the best in the Bay Area. $2.50/round for members, $5.00 for non-members! Plus they don’t have expensive non-toxic shot requirements like many of the bay area trap clubs. The facility is good with 4 voice-call trap ranges and a rifle pistol range as well as a trap ready house and club house for monthly meetings. They are always updating and improving the facility which, as a member, you will help with to gain work hours. The work hours also include range duty, general maintenance and club upkeep. You will work one or two weekend days per year and random range duty hours a few evenings or weekends.
The club offers a laid back atmosphere with friendly members and no ego. Have tons of fun, shoot some (or lots) trap and pay when you’re done; no silly punch cards or tickets here. They have a few different “league” types which are really just semi-formal get-togethers for the members to compete against each other on a weekly basis. ATA shoots every few months as well.
I am moving out of state and I will miss this club very much; the price, the atmosphere and the members. Five star club!
