While on vacation at Navarre Beach, my dad and I shot a round of sporting clays at Shoal River...The drive took about 45 minutes from Navarre, so anybody staying along the Gulf coast in Navarre, Ft. Walton or Destin area should consider Shoal River if you like to shoot...The staff was very friendly and the wooded course (12 Stations) presented several challenging shots...Golf Carts are available to drive the course, so bring a small cooler for drinks...Non-Member price was $40.00/100 shot round + $5.00 for the cart rental...

I'll tell ya, there's no where else to shoot around this area. I'm from OH and used to sporting clays all over then your in for some trouble. If your wife wants to come to the beach, you should try Shoal River, the people are great. The new owners are more that happy to listen to ya.

Great place to go and shoot a good round of sporting clays. Nice club house. Targets are changed on a monthly basis, so you will not get bored. Tournaments are put on every other month. Great targets, good food. Very well worth the time and effort to go check it out. One of few clubs that put on 3 Bird tournaments. What a fun tournament to attend.
If you have not tried Shoal River, stop on by and ask for David. He will take care of you.
