Joe Garcia Woodstock, GA Visitor Once Reviewed 01/07/2008 | Absolutely beautiful place!! The service is incredible! Seems like it is out in the middle of no where, but that makes it even more special. We were running a little late and wanted to get something to eat. Instead of pushing back or cutting short our shooting time we went on out to the course and they brought our food to us. As if that wasn't enough they gave us a 4x4 golf cart to take so we didn't have to carry our food. The sporting clays facility is a bit of a throw back in that the launchers are all manually operated by the guide. Having a guide with you at all times is also a little unusual these days. These guides are all trained instructors and if prompted will be happy to share tips and pointers. Our guide was named Randy and he was excellent. I highly recommend shooting at this facility. |
Brad Hobbs Lilburn Georgia Visitor More than 10 visits Reviewed 10/29/2007 | This is one of the nicest places to shoot sporting clays anywhere, period. Many of the stands are over picturesque water (old Bauxite mines long since filled with water). Take a camera with you. This is a great facility for a corporate or family group. If you like, everything can be provided. They have 12 and 20 Berettas. The staff is great and can handle any level shooting skill, including none. They have a really interesting wooden deck overlooking a large pond. You can set up maybe 5 shooters at once while they throw birds from four or five locations around you. Great fun. Many presentations, including a challenging shot from a hill where you are shooting down on the bird over water. It’s worth the money.
The accommodations at the inn are world class and are also ideal for a corporate off site meeting. Good place to go for an anniversary weekend. They have golf and a great spa as well as two fine restaurants.
