My son Brian and I joined the week after Thanksgiving. We went out to the club on Saturday. They were having a tournament but found space for Brian and I to shoot. This was the first time Brian who is 12 has ever shot skeet and it's probably been 20 years for me. We had a great time. Many members who were present went out of their way to give both Brian and I pointers. Brian's gun did not fit him quite right, so we were introduced to a member who is a gunsmith, Mr. Brewer. He gave me a great deal on some stock work for my sons gun. All I can say is this club has a great group of members.

Visted Macon, Georgia area May 08 stopped by this club to shoot some Sporting Clays and Skeet.

Review: A little off the beaten path, but still easy to get to, off I-75 South of Macon. Facilities are older but, well maintained. Plenty of skeet & trap fields.... But, we came to shoot Sporting Clays... 10 station course was well laid out and fun to shoot (all traps worked well)....but, NO Carts ......so you are going to have to walk or use a 4 wheel drive to shoot Sporting Clays. Member's were friendly and were outgoing to us (1st Time Visitors), Shooting Fees were very reasonable. Not alot of amenities but, I very nice club to shoot at.
Rate it 8 + (on scale of 1-10) ........ Again, member's made us welcome and were very helpful....!!
