Reviewed 08/28/2006 | I was looking for an activity that my entire family could participate in, since we all like to shoot, we decided to check out the griffin gun club. I contacted one of the club officers who's number I found on their website and was invited to tour their facility that Saturday. as soon as we arrived we noticed that the grounds and the buildings seemed to be well maintained. We ventured down to the pistol range where there was a match in progress, there we were greeted by club member Jerry Force. Jerry was very friendly and took time out from the match to tell us about the club and invited us to the next skeet and eat. My family I and took Jerry up on the invite and attended the skeet and eat which is held the second and fourth Thursday each month during the month's when the weather is acceptable. The skeet and eat consists of a meal (usually home made and very good)and three rounds of skeet for $10.00 what a deal! The skeet and eat events are well attended, we have been to several now as they are open to the public, no membership is required. We have had the opportunity to meet many members at the griffin gun club and have found them all to be very friendly. We are joining this week. |
