Maui Sporting Clays stands out as one of the most interesting and unique Sporting Clay Courses in the country. Dave Barnes, the owner is also a highly experienced shooting instructor.

One of the most outstanding facility's of it's type and Dave Barnes is an outstanding teacher and gentleman. Can't wait to get back. Whatever level shooter that you are, Dave will point out some tips to make you better.

It just does not get better then this!! Maui beauty, Sporting Clays and one of the best instructors in the sport. I recently spent 4 days with Dave Barnes and introduced the sport to my 13 and 15 year old boys. Dave set them up with instruction that gave them the basis for a lifetime. I thought I knew most of the game, but Dave showed me techniques for another 10%. I am planning a yearly trip and the boys cannot wait. Do it, you will not be disappointed.

For those interested a fine facility on Maui, with a fine time and fine company, then Maui Porting Clays is a great place to break targets. Dave Barnes in addition to setting up targets to your level of shooting, can give lessons for you that need to improve your game. The location is spectacular, located in a volcanic crater about 1/3 the way up the side of Haleakala. You over look a part of Maui that few people get to see.
So take a break from the sand and surf and enjoy a blast in the crater busting clay targets!! Hey, even if you never tried it before, you will have a grand time at Maui Sporting Clays

I shoot with Dave Barnes every time I get to Maui. I have never met anyone with the ability to coach shooting like Dave. I never get tired of the trip up to Maui Sporting Clays. You will have an opportunity to shoot in one of the most scenic places on earth. If you shoot sporting clays and you are on Maui do not miss this opportunity.

First, let me be clear, I haven't been to Maui Sporting Clays. Rather, I just finished a four hour sporting clays clinic offered by Dave Barnes, the owner of MSC. It was held here in Illinois. I want to tell anybody who cares to listen that Dave's clinic was the best money I have ever spent on the sport. Dave's ability to teach is phenomenal. I believe that no matter what your level, novice or AAA, Dave can make a difference in your game. If you're going to MSC I would highly recommend working with Dave.

Wednesday, March 28 2007 - Just returned from a seven-day cruise of Hawaii, and my visit to Maui Sporting Clays was the most memorable event on the trip. David Barnes is a gracious host, extremely knowledgeable about Maui/Hawaii, and a patient, effective instructor. And you'll be treated to some of the best scenery Maui has to offer, which is saying something.

Shot Maui Sporting Clays on Monday March 20. 2006, Dave Barnes is a wonderful instructor and most accomodating club host. We were treated to a personal lesson and enjoyed the course very much. It is shooting with Hawaiian post card views. A must visit for all shooters going to Maui!!

I had a great experience at Maui Sporting Clays. As a novice I was anxious do get off on the right foot.
David gave me a great introduction to the sport while keeping everything easy going and lots of fun. Combining all the interesting presentations with the view of the ocean this is simply Clay Targets in Paradise.

I have had the pleasure of shooting at Maui Sporting Clays on numerous trips to Hawaii. The range is located in a cinder cone of an old volcano. It is extremely difficult to read the targets. The owner (David Barnes) is an outstanding instructor, and with his help you will break almost any presentation. The scenery is some of Maui's best! If your visiting Maui, plan on multiple visits to Maui Sporting Clays.
