Jason Woodward Manhattan, KS Visitor 2-5 Visits Reviewed 02/23/2009 | I have shot the clays course twice with a group of friends. Ravenswood offers a tower course and a 5 stand setup. The 5 Stand range was hit by lightning and not currently operating. Ravenswood has a nice clubhouse that sells some Beretta shooting gear. I do not know if they sell ammunition. Ken runs Ravenswood and is one of the nicest guys around, his prices are reasonable and the setup of 11 stations is well laid out. The first 5 stations are in the woods with rabbits and birds. The last 6 stations are are shot over ponds or into fields simulation upland hunting situations. The first station is a bird with a rabbit pulled on report. The balance of the stations are all shot as pairs. You can shoot the course as either a 50 or 100 shot course. The pullers are good kids who are always helpful and patient. I recommend Ravenswood to anyone and look forward to shooting their again next weekend. Ravenswood is open by appointment Mon-Fri, and during daylight hours on Sat and Sun. |
Chuck Miller Berryton, Kansas Member More than 10 visits Reviewed 01/24/2008 | They have a regular 11 station course for the novice and somewhat experienced shooter but also have a tower course for the most experienced shooter that is most challenging. |
