Visited the club this spring after a layoff of 15 years. Walked in, was greeted by Mark Durbin, and explained my desire "to get back into shooting". He suggested I join one of their shooting leagues...sounded like a good idea to me, I said !! Well, he says, let me introduce you to your captain, Mike Shepherd (sp?). We jump in a cart, buzz out to a field, am introduced to Mike, who welcomes me on his team, warmly. In 15 minutes I'm signed up for a league, meet two good guys in the club and walk out of there feeling great. They never asked me how well I shot; they just seemed happy to have me on board....my team members have been great and welcomed me the same way.
I've had a great time there so far and highly recommend it to the novice or never miss guy/old or young/male or female. Go out there some Sat or Sun and you'll probably get the same greeting I got. So far they have been a fine bunch of guys (and a gal on my team). I may join the Club (there has absolutely no pressure to join).
The facilities are clean, neat and the members seem to take pride in keeping everything in order.

I visited the range with my 14 year old nephew so he could shoot a recently inherited shotgun. The Bernheim chapter of the NWTF was holding a shoot with disabled and handicapped shooters. It was great. We shot with some 4H members and everyone made us feel welcome. It had been about ten years since I had shot there when my own boys were about the same age. The range was nice and prices are very reasonable.

My brother and I came through Louisville and shot at this club. There was a really friendly atmosphere, good fields, good equipment. I really felt welcomed and made it a point to go three times to the club before leaving town.

I started going here a few months ago. The club is nice and has good hours (very convenient). Staff is friendly and prices are good if you are a member, a little high if you aren't, but they are still fair. Lots of fields, never have to wait to shoot. The sporting clays field is so/so aesthetically, fine for challenge.
