As a former member (I moved out of the area) I highly recommend San Lee. The facilities were very good ( probably improved a lot since I moved out)and the people were great. I enjoyed shooting there.

San-Lee gun club used to be San-Lee Sharpshooters. My girl friend, ( now wife) Janet of almost 25 years, found a bunch of great people in Sanford NC. We learned to fit in with a bunch of folks that enjoyed being together. Gene Parsons, Mike ( in the Army ), Wes Brower ( active then in the Air Force), Gerald Shaw, David Mc Clarin, Greg Badders and a list of other names that I'm sorry to say that I've forgotten. Janet and I married and had two sons. Bemjamin is 23 and a marine biologist in Fla. Patrick thank goodness is 17 and still at home.

Patrick is the one that got me to shoot again. We've been shooting this crazy game called sporting clays at Rose Hill Farm in NC. ha Much different from plain old skeet at San-Lee Sharp Shooters from many years back. Is there any old members still around? Love to hear from you.

I've been a member for three years, this is one of the finest facilities I've ever belonged to (50 years shooting). I am especially impressed with the constant effort most members make to keep the place clean with as many members as we have the work of the staff is normally right in step with the liter bugs. I shoot primarily rifle, occasionally pistol. Skeet field appears to be well kept.
