Stopped by and shot on a weekday in April.
Club has a mix of automatic and manual traps.
Course is flat and easy as a walking course there were golf carts available, we could have walked, but we chose to ride. Targets were a mix of soft & fluffy and some harder crossers. Many of the stations are shot from covered gazebos. I suspect you'd be able to shoot and stay dry in a rainstorm here. The trapper was knowledgeable and was able to challenge us on some presentations.

A very enjoyable visit. Highly recommended.

I am in Maryland for a temporary duty for work and was looking for something to do. Got a couple guys together and went to Pintail Point. What a great facility. Beautiful scenery all around. We went Saturday Mid Day and there was a lot of people there, but there was no wait. We had a great time, other than being reminded my skills need work. Our trapper left a little to be desired. He was kinda distant and anti social, plus he was text messaging the whole time. But he did not impede our shooting pace. We had so much fun we went back the very next day. Our trapper the second day was great. I do not recall her name, but she was very personable, helped us with tips on more difficult shots, and was very fun. I can not wait to get back and shoot again. I have 3 more months in Maryland and intend to go there every weekend I can. Thanks to all the staff at Pin Tail Point.

We visited here on 07/25/2008. I have visited many sporting clay facilities throughout the country and quite frankly, Pintail Point is the standard that all others should be judged. The grounds are well manicured and beautiful to behold. Our trapper was friendly, patient and helpful. The clubhouse has a wonderful gift shop and informative staff. At first glance, I thought shooting here would be expensive, but their prices were competitive. I plan to return here many times. What a find!

This place is amazing. I spent the weekend with my family shooting sporting clays, wobble trap and upland birds. Everything about it is first class. I'll be back many times in the future. My son and I never shot wobble trap before, what a blast. It was his first time being able to beat me. I had a fantastic weekend.

First, shooting here was a nice experience and there were some challenging targets, and their wobble trap is a must. Also the staff were hospitable and friendly. However that being said the Club & grounds looked "tired". It appears that the last time the broken clays & spent shells were cleaned up were sometime during the Ford Administration. Also a number of the stations could stand some repair or a fresh painting. While these may be considered a minor detail, however for a club of this purported caliber it makes a difference.

I had a fantastic visit. The grounds are beautiful, a simply wonderful place to spend the day! My instructor was very patient, encouraging and informative. I was worried, being a woman and a beginner, that I would not be taken seriously, and was pleasantly surprised to be proven wrong. I will be back for further practice and definitely some fun.

Pintail Point is an excellent establishment for sporting clays, 5 stand, and, of course a wobble trap that is unsurpassed anywhere. The staff is always professional and courteous, and, willing to help in any way possible. The course changes frequently, and, can be challenging at times. The trappers are friendly, and, will throw targets in any variation you want. Definitely a premier shooting place. Try and whoop the wobble!

It is hard to imagine a better facility for shooting sporting clays. Ninteen of us decended on the club and were imeadiately taken by the terrific setting in eastern-shore farmland. We rented guns, got hooked-up with guides, and everyone from the first-time shooters to the very experienced sportsmen had a great time. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The facilities are beautiful.
