My wife and I shot sporting clays here last week. DEFINITELY worth the trip there from Virginia where we were visiting friends in Florida. Great target presentations and interesting details for shooters. For instance, while moving from station to station, they provide eye glass cleaning stations. Never saw that before. After shooting, there is a station where one can clean shotguns or have a staff member clean the guns for you,. Amelia Shotgun Sports cares for their customers.

I stopped in on a quick visit to Florida. I was greeted and treated exceptionally well by the staff. The trap targets were set well, and the background was exceptional. I was then treated to a guided tour of the entire facility. Wonderful experience!!!!!!!

Nice facility easy to find. The service is not as personable as I would like but all in all the people are nice. The guys running the outside are very helpful if you have an issue let one of them know they will do what they can to help. If your in the area and looking for a place to shoot I would recommend stopping by they are about 10 min from 95.

I was very impressed with my first visit. Barbara was such a helpful and sweet lady. She along with the other employee’s made me feel right at home and helped out with everything needed for an enjoyable day of shooting. I was so impressed that I became a member. Such a great and nice place to shoot. Looking forward to many more great visits. 🙂

Today was the first day that I visited this facility. My first impression, as with any place I have never been to before, was what do I do, and where do I go? These questions were all answered fast by the very friendly and helpful staff. I started off shooting a round of trap because that’s all I have shot before, and then I was introduced to sporting clays. My world was turned upside down by how fun and enjoyable it was. It was like a nice nature walk through the woods stopping at each shooting stand, each individually laid out with different, unique presentations of the clays. I could go on all day about this place but I am already planning on going back soon. GO and you will love it.

Well there were 3 country boys from Missouri that had a eventful filled day at the facility. Master class, AA, and a B class shooter that had as good a targets as one could find. The sweetest gal behind the counter did everything in her power to make sure we sure we felt at home and we did just that. Blue course was excellent twist and turns and the red coarse was for most sporting shooters would enjoy. Thanks again and thanks for the directions to WW he was very accommodating also, Thanks again.

My father was visiting from Savannah and we decided to dust off the guns in the closet and do some shooting. We were both avid hunters and had some experience with skeet/trap shooting but it had been close to 20 years since either of us had pulled a trigger. John Woolley spent time with us upon arrival and checked out our equipment as I had concerns because of non-use. Before we knew it we were shooting the yellow course (the easy one) and both of us were having an absolute blast. With a little initial instruction, we found the course easy to use and follow. The equipment seemed to be top notch as we had only two or three targets come out broken. I joined the club and look forward to spending more time out there.

Dropped by while on business. Club is very nice and they were more than happy to accommodate me as a single. They have the automatic round counter with delay. Facility was very clean and all was in good working order. Target presentation was fine. Good mix of tougher and easy targets. Shot the Red Course. Blue looked pretty tough for average shooter. Executive course looked to be exactly what you would expect. A little more expensive than many places I normally shoot, but not overly so.

I will go back next time I’m can while in the area.

A 30min drive from St Simons. The facility is top notch, clean and laid back. Skeet was $8 per round, ammo was $7 a box(12ga). I think this is the best option for the golden isles area.

Nice facility! If you’re shooting alone(electronic plugin box to count targets), be sure to ask which course, red or blue, you are supposed to shoot, else it will be confusing. each stand has a station number and menu in one color or the other.
Good targets, some with distance most not so much but frequent use of midis, some edge-on battues, several chandelles.
I will be going back in two days to shoot the five-stand.

After shooting this club while taking a shooting lesson from John Woolley (One of the best instructors in the country), I decided to join as a member. The club is 3½ hours away, but their targets and regular tournaments keep us coming back.

The facilities are new and quite adequate. The sporting clay targets are challenging and changed regularly (12 stations). The 5-stand is impressive and includes “Big Boy” targets. The staff is always helpful. They also have trap and skeet.

I highly recommend this club and suggest you consider a lesson from John as part of the experience.
