I had the pleasure of shooting some skeet at this fine public facility. You’d think that it was a private range, its so well kept. The locals say most shooting is done by noon on Sundays, so keep that in mind. The phone number listed rings off the hook and no one answers email from their website; So, its best to just show up and shoot. Cant beat the deal for only 3.00 a game. I will most certainly return.

This Club is local to me and we shoot there occasionally. Why only occasionally? Everytime we have been there it is extraordinarily crowded, most likely because the fee is somewhat lower than at other clubs and the presentations are good. But this makes for long lines at the stations. However, the presentations are quite good and often creative, with a decent blend of difficulty (some may say leaning towards the difficult). We had numerous experiences there where the trappers or support personnel did not adhere to safety procedures and failed to deal effectively with shooters who demonstrated unsafe handling, whether it be equipment issues or things like loading before entering the box (always a nice one). Understandably, it is difficult to policed long lines of shooters. I am an RSO and this is the only club where I ever had to step in for safety’s sake. Perhaps trapper training is light. Still, it an excellent course of fire and we will be there again. Wherever you may shoot, all are responsible for each other’s safety; all must pay attention.

Very nice facility, impressed with grounds, very clean, nice bunch of folks. Clays course had nice targets but limited to only 8 stations so 50 birds was the max.You could go around twice but makes for a boring time. Some trappers could use some clays course etiquette when it comes to responding to shooters request. Also they were not to responsive when shooters were have gun issues and should have been focused on safe gun handeling. Otherwise a nice place to visit, not to far off the beaten path from Hartford.

Very nice trapshooting layout, 4 traps, very well kept grounds with nice birds. It is a members only club and they will invite you to shoot with them if you call first. Memberships are very reasonable and I would join if I lived in the area. Members are very welcoming and helpful.
