Directions:
From hwy 421N: Right on Hwy 221N to West Jefferson and 1st traffic signal Keep on Hwy 221N thru next (4) signals to NC Hwy 88W Hwy 88W approx 6 miles until pass Midway Market on left End of next straightaway as road begins to rise, sharp left directly opposite NC Test Farm Office (Small White bldg on Rt. Road is Big Peak Ck Rd. Stay on as pavement runs out (Approx 3 miles) and continue on until hit pavement again. Right after pavement starts again, Right at Ashe County Wildlife Club Drive. Take lower gate to picnic shelter. Parking there for Sporting Clays. Members and their guests only.

Been all over the world . Retired army. So I’ve seen plenty of places . You could not fine a better group of guys and ladies anywhere. Great place to shoot, site see, chat and maybe tell,a few white lies. Ranges are great . The club members have really have been working hard to improve there area. New rifle range out to 300 meters, pistol range, club house, improved roads. You got to go there! Oh for you fisher men state stocked lake/pond stream feed.

Awesome, great folks, wonderful shooting, I shot Sporting Clays and Skeet on two different weeks. Members were very hospitable. A little hard to find but the Garmin made it relatively easy to find.

I think this club is a great place to shoot with a great bunch of people. They make you feel at home and will give you a hand and loan you a gun to shoot if needed. The ranges have some of the best views. The skeet range is sitting on top of a mountain ridge with a great view and so is the wobble trap. Contact Gale at the club and you’ll be hooked like I was.
