I participated in the FCA sporting clays shoot in May, 2014. Everyone affiliated with the club and FCA was fantastic. The grounds and the course layout were well maintained, prepared and challenging. I hope to be able to shoot there again.

This range is incredible! I shoot here every week for practice for a team. The members and employees are VERY friendly and willing to answer any questions or help with expert advice. Beautiful scenery and great trap, skeet, 5 stand, and sporting clay ranges. 5 out of 5 stars!

First visit to the club with my nephew and a friend of his from Galesburg. We got there late, about 3:15 to shoot a round of sporting clays. Also asked about shooting a couple of rounds of trap. We paid for both and were told they would give us a refund the trap fee if were past the 5:00 closing time. Had an enjoyable round of sporting clays. Got done around 5:00 and although we were the only ones shooting they stayed open for our rounds of trap. The lady behind the desk was very pleasant and the young man running the sporting clay throwers was great. I joined the club on my first visit and look forward to coming back. Couldn’t have been more impressed.

I am a new member as the price was reasonable and the location is near where I am currently working. First visit was 8/26/08. I shot (2) rounds of skeet and (1) of wobble trap. The ranges are in good shape and the equipment is in good condition. The shooters were very friendly and were free with advice. My previous experience was (2) visits to Rend Lake in Illinois for sporting clays and (2) visits to a small range near Rockford Illinois for skeet. The advice was greatly appreciated. I didn’t get a chance to try the food but the clubhouse was neat and spacious. I got an explanation of the 5-stand from a member and I look forward to trying it. Overall an excellent first experience and I highly recommend the club.
