Nice club but largely unimaginative in target presentation and usually pathetically slow birds. Should have at least one of the courses set up for competition shooters above hunter class. This place has a ton of potential but they pander to the D- shooters who get upset if the bird flies faster than a golf cart. Luxury carts???? No way. Absolutely no place for your gun, none.
I give this place a C- but it has potential for A- shooting. Heck, Tenuroc now has tougher stations to shoot! C’mon Blackjack!!!!

Great place to shoot. 3 courses!!! State of the art facility with great customer service. Paved roads. Rental carts are in great shape.
The courses where set on the soft side, but they just had a charity shoot the day that I shot.
I highly recommend this club to anyone passing thru or around the Central Florida area.

This was my first visit to Blackjack Sporting Clays, a relatively new club. It consists of 2 full Sporting Clays courses, as well as a Small Gauge course. Carts are in good condition and the cart paths are all paved, so neither dust not mud is a problem here. Upon arrival, sign in is high tech, efficient electronic via keyed input. Each of the shooting stations has the customary 2 programmable traps, so that a lone shooter might shoot by himself.
Being a new club with extensive terrain improvement, it presently looks somewhat barren. But the area is blessed with an abundance of beautiful mature oaks, so as soon as the undergrowth recovers with greenery this will be a very attractive environment. The staff is friendly and helpful. The targets are good and the equipment is in good working order. The Club is located only 10 minutes off of I-75 and is easy to locate.
Be forewarned, however, that “Look Birds” are not part of the package. This Club expects that a visitor who has never seen the course is able to shoot without “Look Birds”. Menus are provided to help the new shooter, but they are inadequate for preparing you for the shot. If you shoot the proper way, by analyzing a pair of look birds, then planning your shot, it is going to cost you an extra $1 per station for this privilege ($1 X 15 stations = $15 extra).
