Warning, MEMBERS ONLY!!! Myself and two friends wanted to do some shooting and found this club. The website didn’t say anything about a member having to be part of the group. And, there was no phone to call and inquire. We arrived and was told we had to have a member. First year is $400. The man never even offered to let us try the place out. I guess they have enough members, even though there were four empty ranges. Go to Remington or Mayflower, obviously they don’t need the business. Real hospitable for my two friends from out of state.

I know the caretaker personally and always have a great time when I visit. The bad part is, I don’t really enjoy skeet shooting unless I’m back there.

Had a great time at this club. Skeet is 4.00 per game plus a 1.00 daily membership fee for visitors. This is a big club and has a very active and diverse membership. If you shoot in july, bring water and sun screen. It gets hot, real hot. The club was very busy on the s.Clays side of the house, but skeet shooting was sparse. I was able to get 6 games in before noon, but had to jump in on numerous squads to do it. Mr. English was very kind to allow me access and im very grateful. I will return to shoot again.

I noticed there is an old post from 2006 on this site that doesn’t reflect recent changes to the club. The sporting clays range is definitely improved since 06, including a new 75 ft tower capable of throwing to several stations, as well as solar battery chargers to keep the batteries charged. Also more board members have determined that the club will do a better job maintaining the sporting clays range, since a majority of members are now using the sporting clays range.

As a non-member I called the club to see if our small group of five could shoot sporting clays at the facility while we were on our way from Florida to the Tulsa Gun Show. We received excellent service and gracious hospitality from past club President, Mr. Brandon Causey and the caretaker, Mr. Johnny English. The range was about 5 miles total travel off I-40.

The 10-station walk through course could be set as a challenge or as a mild course or anything in-between. On the day we shot the course, I would say the course was set as a medium course, as it should be for a standard set at a functioning range. The north side of the course is open with trees as a background. The southern side of the course has trees and orchards that can be used to make the course as difficult as one might want. There were only two stands that allowed reports, all others were true pairs. It was obvious that a master shooter could adjust his shots to be as difficult as he or she might want. The traps were excellent and we only had one problem with one machine, a dead battery that was fixed immediately.

We, all five of the group, had a very good experience at this range and would go back at any time.

This facility is a “private club”. The fee to become a member is $250; thereafter, yearly membership is $125. This facility claims to offer: skeet, trap, 5-stand and a limited “sporting course”. Upon observation it becomes immediately clear that this facility is primarily designed for American Skeet; that is, the five skeet fields are excellent! Unfortunately, there two trap fields pale in comparison, and it just goes downhill from there. The 5-Stand field is not aethetically appealing, and the “sporting course” is, well, not very sporting. But if American Skeet is your game, this would be the place to be.
