This is a Member only club. On a recent long trip from SW Florida to central Mississippi, I contacted Gary Cox to ascertain if he would consider allowing an out of state visitor into his private facility to shoot. I informed Gary that I had shot at 50+ clubs in my travels around the southeastern U.S. and would love to visit his Club. He cordially invited me and my brother, Eddie, into the Club to shoot at a prearranged date and time.
We were not disappointed. The equipment was in excellent working order. The Targets were good. The course was well laid out around a large circular drive that had been covered with ground up asphalt to minimize dust. Although we shot at midday, there was sufficient shade to protect us from the summer sun. The Club is in the process of building a new club house.
If Gary can accommodate your schedule and agrees to allow you to shoot this private club, it is well worth the visit.
