Brad as done a fantastic job setting up this site. It is anything but flat and has a lot of different presentations. Don’t let the 15 stations fool you. He has three traps set up on each station and the electronic controller will let you throw singles or any combination of the three for doubles. He also has carts available. Palmyra might be a long ways away but you can combine the trip with visits to nearby Monticello, Ashlawn, MontPelier, Charlottesville and a lot of other historical sites. This is one of those “not to be missed” sites. I’ll be back. Oh, Brad is one heck of a nice guy.

Took my family here while on vacation last month. A great facility. We had a lot of fun. Brad is a super guy and made us feel very welcome.

Couldn’t have had a better father’s day. Took my adults kids and wife for the afternoon. Brad has a VERY well thought out circuit for proper sporting clays, that changes often… BUT he also has a 5 station range and a “wobble” range– which I read as a trap set up with 5 stations at different levels– perfect for a beginner (set to no wobble–or oscillating speed)… which was great for beginners to get used to a new gun, range or the feel for the birds.

Bathrooms, golf carts, office with snacks/drinks and the most friendly staff I have met in years. Offered smaller gauge shotguns for the ladies, swapped out lighter loads for us… gave the ladies pink clays to aim for… as well as a great quick course on eye dominance and intercepting the target.

Just a great day and we will be back for sure. They also organize many tournaments for all levels.

I am not from the area, but took a group of 20 (mostly) inexperienced shooters for a pre-wedding outing and was very pleased. We did not know what to expect. The owner and trapper were prepared and knowledgeable. The trapper, Phil, is 81 years old and in better condition than most of the young guys in my group. I cannot say enough about his teaching and demonstration technique, with just the right amount of humor. I only wished I lived closer and come more often

My friends and I come here regularly and we find Brad helpful and very conscious of safety. He will often stop by give us tips. The course has some challenging stations and Brad is constantly changing traps around to give us a challenge every time. It is a great place to go for a few hours of fun and fellowship.

We went there while in the area. With 3 novices joining us the time taken to instruct them on gun safety and practice shooting was excellent. We all had a great time and the sporting clays were a suitable challenge for even the experienced participants. I highly recommend this facility.

First visit to the club and had a great time. Bret was very helpful with some handy tips. I had my 11 year old with me who he connected well with also and hooked me up with some training shot for him.

All in all a great club, no membership (exactly what I was looking for), nice folks, and good times!

    Thanks for the experience!
