Went fall of 2013 for a bachelor party and loved it. Been wanting to go back ever since. Very nice setup and friendly to first timers. Please be sure to know gun safety rules and use common sense – had to add that! Not that we had any problems, but safety first!

First time shooting clay targets. Visited this place for a bachelor party after reading great reviews of the place. staff was very helpful with explaining how everything would work. we had a party of 9 and they accommodated us with ease. everyone had a great time and was a challenging shoot for all of us being new, though was still an awesome time. everyone WILL be visiting again.

I was visiting family in PA and decided to pack along the shotguns this year. Dave from Chestnut Ridge was happy to open the range for me on the Wed before Thanksgiving. The sporting clays course has 20 stations with manual traps. Our trapper was very good in every respect. The course is very challenging, with many presentations that I have never seen before on courses with electronic traps. The wobble trap is also more challenging than all others I’ve shot…the spring-pressure is cranked up, so the birds leave the trap screaming away. I had a fantastic experience and I’ll be back again next holiday season.

I really enjoyed my first visit to Chestnut Ridge. The folks were very friendly and accommodating. The course reminds me of live hunting. Many of the stations are not visible so you don’t know where the birds will be coming from. Very challenging and fun. I have a 4 seater Polaris. It was a little tight for for the course in two places. I joked that I would bring my chain saw next time to “open up those places.” They didn’t seem to mind.

I just started going to Chestnut Ridge for the Wobble Trap a few weeks ago. My wife found it for me online. I went alone the first time & had so much fun that I keep coming back. I’ve also taken my best friend & newest son-in-law several times. We have a blast. It’s $5 for 25 clays(one set) on the Wobble trap & $30 per person for the Sporting Clays Course(that’s 100 clays each folks). Dave, Ray, & their staff are very helpful. They take the time to explain in detail all aspects of the range. The range is open Saturday & Sunday. It is a good idea to call first to confirm your shoot. My advice to you is try it. You won’t be disappointed in anyway. You don’t need much money, however oil the gun & bring a lot of shells. Oh did I mention a lot of Shells!!!!

I thought this club was a great shoot! Did a round of sporting clays then decided to try the wobble trap and both were a lot of fun. Sporting clays course is set in the woods and offers a good variety of shots: overhead, crossing, approaching, retreating, etc. Did the course with a new trapper on his first day, but the round was still fluid, hardly any dead birds thrown. Wobble trap is a lot of fun too shoots the birds at varying angles up/down and left/right, always a good shoot for the age old father son battle. Employees were nice and I would suggest this course to others, it was a low key enjoyable shoot.

Great experence, Dave and his brother Ray are class acts all the way! This was my first time ever shooting sporting clays and I can’t say enough good things about entire experence. They took the time to explain the stations and where the targets would be coming from. The 5 station pyramid {wobble} was way to much fun! I can’t believe it”s legal!!! LOL. Keep up the good work. I highly recommend going to this club.

The coarse is approx. .9 miles long through a wooded paradise. This is a great place for begginers and experts alike. Special requests can be made to acomidate large groups for a day. Please call for more information.
