On Vacation doing a Jackson, Yellowstone, Cody loop.
Missing my weekly trap shoot did a little net research and found the Cody Shooting Complex and that they shot trap Wednesday evenings.
Checked it out earlier in the day, wow what a setup, everything a shooting enthusiast could desire. Rifle, pistol, trap, skeet, sporting clays, and five stand.
Off to the local walmart to pick up ammo, ear & eye protection, hoping to find a loaner gun or someone who would let me borrow theirs.
Not to worry, Justin lent me his classic Model 12, and Walter, (I think)found a a Beretta o/u for me.
Shot two rounds one with each gun, and a bit of bull in between.
All in all a great evening.
Next time out this way I am bringing my Sharps to challenge the 1000 yard targets.

Had a great time shooting 5 stand. Hospitality was great, so was the food. Wish we had more time to shoot all you have to offer. Thanks again.

The first week of August, my wife and I, in addition to my children and grandchildren visited Cody for museum experience. Both my son-in-law and grandson, as well as myself are into the shooting sports. Both myself and son-in-law shoot Trap. My grandson shoots target, handgun and rifle. Upon visiting one of the finest clubs I have ever seen, we experienced a wonderful day at the range. Everyone, without exception, was helpful, welcoming, and a delight to shoot with. It is wonderful when a club has something to offer for the entire family. The facility is first rate. Anyone in the area should check them out. Bring your toys, as you will have a terrific time.
