My brother and I wanted to shoot a round of Sporting clays at Creekwood Shooting sports. So, we proceeded checked in the office and we got our shotguns and went to the first station. After shooting 4 clays at the first station, Station (2) “A” machine stopped working come to find out that the battery died. Ok no big deal, I made a call to the office. Station (3) was fine as was Station (4), and Station (5), When got to Station (6) same thing “A” machine quit working, ok, I make another call to the office (Starting to get a little frustrated), but ok, maybe a glitch, still no big deal. Ok, now we get to a couple more stations and same thing occurs. Now I am starting to get frustrated. Making about 5 calls to the front desk that day due to dead or dying batteries, which to me is inexcusable.
I know that Batteries can be tested for how much power they has left on them either before or even after business hours to ensure that it makes through a business day.
Batteries and Malfunction with Clay throwers; I can understand maybe one machine malfunctioning, but 4 or 5 dead batteries out 24 machines, pretty bad percentage. The young man behind the counter which I believe his name was Scott, brushed it off as saying, Oh, it just the batteries dying. Just thought someone should know the experience I had.
Creekwood Shooting sports is very nice place, but me and my brother did not have a pleasant experience that day.

This range is a great place and they are always working to make it better. I shoot sporting clays here and they are always changing the stations up and keeping it challenging. The facilities are nice and always in good working order along with the equipment. They offer sporting clays league at lest 3 times a year and I enjoy shooting in the league. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I always look forward to the next time I get to shoot here.

Scott finished the SC course and is changing it on what seems like a weekly basis – the “gimme” birds one week become the ***** the next! Some weeks I think I’m fabulous, others it’s “practice needed” The most important thing is that both Scott and Jeanette are making this a enjoyable place to shoot as well as an enjoyable place to visit. As a result, it feels like family, the shooters are laid back and everyone is welcome.

Jeanette and Scott are doing a great job with their new venture. They are both eager to please and very focused on customer service. The facility has great potential which I suspect and hope will be reached in the very near term. Scott has cleared the path for Sporting clays which are long overdue in the area. I recommend anyone to stop by shoot and enjoy the new atmosphere.

My 12 year old son and I visited twice in three days. We shot 5 stand, skeet and trap. We were greeted in a very friendly manner and the management could not have been more accommodating. The facility is very clean and well run. I am sure we will return throughout the year.

The facility is clean and well run. We shot 5 stand and skeet. The 5 stand clays are launched at speeds that will really challenge shooters. We had a great day and will certainly return.

This would go to this range more often if it was not so far away from my house. Very clean. Great staff.
