I shot at Deer Creek Hunt Club back on May 23, 2015. It was a beautiful day and a beautiful place to shoot. They have three courses: Beginner, Intermediate and Expert. I shot the Intermediate course and I thought it was the right degree of difficulty for my shooting level. I want to go back and shoot there again sometime. It is a beautiful facility and I would highly recommend it for anybody who wants to shoot a round of Sporting Clays in that area.

I shot it on a beautiful day in late May, 2015. I found it to be a beautiful course and about the right difficulty for my skill level. They have three courses: Beginner, Intermediate, and Expert. I shot the Intermediate course. I would love to go back there and shoot again sometime.

All I can say is that this club is a very overlooked fantastic place to shoot! I shot here this last weekend at a fun shoot they were having. The targets were good, the traps worked, and the courses are well manicured. A portion of the courses are in the trees which is high on my list.
I had a nice conversation with Tammy and she said they don’t do NSCA targets anymore because of the poor turnouts at the events. What a shame. Go shoot here and support your area club! I’ll be back if we travel back this way again. The address listed above is an accurate address and will work in your GPS.

Deer Creek is by far the best facility in the Northwest Indiana corridor. It’s an all day event traveling from Chicago but well worth it compared to the other clubs in the 50 mile radius of the Windy City. My father and law and I have been shooting there this season and enjoy the two sporting clays courses, the elevated wobble and will hit the 5 stand next visit. They rent carts, Beretta and Browning shotguns and sell ammo there. Great people there are only a phone call away if any traps go wonky. We always meet some great members there every time we shoot, and the clubhouse has a nice northwoods vibe. It also hosts live bird events and both registered and club shoots. You need to check it out, it is excellent in every way.

We started shooting at Deer Creek A year ago, And absolutely Love It! The staff are wonderful and the food is delicious. We try to go Once a week to shoot the sporting clay course which is alot of fun and challenging, they also have a wobble station, 5 stand and skeet. We highly recommend Deer Creek to all, from fun to competitive shooters.

Very nice facility, but exteremly costly.. Sporting clays are $45 for a round of 100 if your are a non-member.. Wobble is $10, so if your wanting to do a good days worth of shooting, be prepared for the price… I will come back again, but this facility is one of those which I go to only once a year!

Deer Creek is a pleasure to shoot.. I have been shooting there for about 8 years and would go more if it were closer to where I live. The course is very challenging and great to shoot, I have never had a bad shoot there. The clubhouse has recently been renovated and is now very comfortable. The staff are always very friendly and accommodating.

Expensive, $10 per round of skeet, 5 stand, wobble. Somewhat complicated automatic launching system, some of the houses didn’t work on the 5 stand. Ranges face into the afternoon sun, go in the morning.
