My wife and I were members of this club back in the 90’s, its was a wonderful group of people then, and when I visit the facility today with friends and my children to shoot, it is the same, a wonderful group of people.
Now that my children are older and interested in shooting, we would really like to join as members again.

DR&GC is one of five clubs that operate out of the United Sportsmans Club facilities. USI is a corporate entity that owns the facility. As indicated, there is 5 stand, Skeet and Trap available as well as a public rifle and pistol range, and a members only rifle/pistol range. Diablo is the most active of the clubs at USI and sponsors most of the events and competitions. Diablo also underwrites a youth shooting program, called the Musketeers, and all kids who are the children of members, shoot for free at Musketeers events. Diablo also extends this policy to all their sponsored competitions, so kids shoot without any entry fee at those events as well. I believe USI has 3 or 4 trap fields, 5 Skeet fields and one 5 stand field. They are currently upgrading all their Skeet houses and have also recently added a tower to a skeet field and are shooting “Flurry” on an monthly basis. There is a club house on site where you can hang out, meet up with other members, play a little cards or whatever. Beer is available but USI rules stipulate that if you drink a beer, you cannot shoot. Common sense, IMO.
I highly recommend Diablo Rod and Gun club. The people are very friendly and helpful, and the facilities are pretty good.
